Description: If you are looking for a fun activity to target prepositions, expanding utterances, answering questions, and sentence structure, this is the perfect option! Use this during your language therapy sessions or assign to your students for distance learning practice. This activity includes two ways to target prepositions. First, there are 8 cards with visuals for preposition concepts and objects/people to move around the classroom. There is also a classroom scene with students and a teacher all doing fun things. You or your student/client can drag the correct pronoun (he or she) and the correct action word (e.g. sitting, eating, playing, working, etc.). When you’re done, click “submit.” All of the pictures are draggable but only the correct sentence strip will give the “correct answer” feedback. If the wrong pronoun or action word is used, the “oops” feedback will occur. There are 8 action words targeted. You can also ask other questions about the scene. How to use: The home page includes both following directions incorporating prepositions, as well as expressively labeling prepositions with the help of sentence strips. You will be taken to first picture scene where there will a choice between which activity you want to work on (following directions w/ prepositions or labeling prepositions). For the portion incorporating sentence strip visuals, simply drag the correct pronoun and present progressive verb to the sentence strip and hit “submit.”
