In this interactive Boom Cards™ activity, students practice making a grocery list by looking at shelves and finding the items that are empty or running low. Students identify the items that need to be replaced and drag the matching labels onto the grocery list. This deck includes 80 different slides and 2 levels of difficulty. Level 1: Students find 1–2 items to add to the grocery list. Level 2: Students find 3–5 items to add to the grocery list. All items include draggable labels, making this activity great for working on food vocabulary, functional vocabulary, visual scanning, problem solving, grocery list skills, kitchen prep, and everyday life skills. Although this deck is not specifically designed as an AAC activity, it can easily be used with AAC users. Instead of dragging the label, students can find the matching item on their AAC food page or use their AAC system to say what needs to be added to the list. This activity is great for speech therapy, special education, life skills lessons, transition skills, functional communication, food vocabulary, grocery list practice, kitchen prep, and AAC-supported communication.
