Description: The skill of segmenting syllables is a prerequisite to learning many reading and spelling rules. In this deck, the student listens to the breakfast-themed word, counts the number of syllables, and clicks on the correct number. Audio directions, including a reminder that each syllable needs a vowel, and reading of each word are included. The audio for each word will play automatically. This deck is great for literacy centers or word work.
