Description
Expanding Utterances Summer activity. Students will practice identifying pronouns & Summer themed verbs while answering "what doing" questions. Students are asked "what is he/she doing?" at the top of each card and are presented with a large image of a child performing a Summer themed verb. Students must complete the "He/she is......" sentence strip at the bottom of the card by dragging the correct pronoun & verb into the sentence strip. Students are given 2 pronouns & 2 verbs to choose from. All answer choices provided are written and have visual aids to help with comprehension. Verbs Practiced: -swimming -jumping -surfing -rowing -splashing -diving -rubbing -paddling -scooping -eating -building -tanning -roasting -squeezing -reading -floating -standing -sitting -sleeping -pouring -biking -bouncing -patting -grilling -kicking -holding This activity is aimed to help expand student's utterances to complete sentences & aid in language development.
