Description: Use this Chores Around the House deck during your Life Skills lesson to practice identifying different chores around the house and why we do them. Students will be presented with a scenario where they need to choose an appropriate action to carry out the chore. They have an option of four activities to carry out the chore correctly. An example of a scenario would be: I have no clean t-shirts to wear to school tomorrow. What should I do? Here students would choose to do the laundry. Other chores include ironing, putting clothes in the dryer, vacuuming, sweeping. setting the table, feeding the baby, washing the dog, making the bed.. This deck was created with SPED students in mind. A simplistic slide design helps students to stay on track and not be distracted.
