Description: This deck provides practice dividing VCCV words with closed syllables (the "Rabbit Rule") There are 43 cards in total, one that explains the rule, two instruction cards, and 40 practice cards. There are two different activities (20 cards each): 1) students see a word (vowels are underlined and in red to make the task easier) and they drag a bar up to divide the word; and 2) they see a word and must divide it into syllables by typing each part of the word in a box. All syllables are closed with short vowel sound, and words may include blends and digraphs.
