This boom card activity supports students to practice answering personal questions e.g., What is your phone number. The questions are asked in multiple different ways to build understanding. A scaffold is also provided to support students provide an answer. These questions are important for building social skills and for safety as they may be asked to students who abscond or wander. It will be important to practice these regularly. I would also encourage your student to answer in multiple modalities if possible e.g., verbally, using their AAC, writing the answer etc. It will also be important to support students to understand who they should provide this information to.
