This Boom Card deck helps students practice long vowel recognition in CVCE words. Students are shown a picture with the word spelled out, but the middle vowel is missing. They are given the initial and final letters along with the magic E, and a selection of all vowels on the side, styled like magnetic letters. Students drag the correct vowel into the middle spot on the tray to complete the word and match it to the picture.
