Description
Minerals Boom Cards was designed to help students prepare for Florida’s 5th Grade Science FCAT by identifying the different properties of minerals being studied in a scenario including color, luster, hardness, streak, and cleavage/fracture. Students begin with 7 cards that introduce/review mineral properties. Following instruction, there are 17 slides with scenarios in which students must identify the property being studied or use a Mohs hardness scale to answer questions related to the chart.
