Description: Perspective taking activities (includes multiple choice and open-ended tasks) for elementary school students based on the fairy tale, Little Red Riding Hood. Here's how it works: show the Little Red Riding Hood digital storyboard with audio first. After familiarizing the student with the entire story, there are activities (senses, feelings, thoughts, actions) that accompany each part of the story. Learner supports include audio directions, scaffolded activities, home page, directions, and navigation arrows. Activities: Digital storyboard, Multiple choice and open-ended response activities about feelings, thoughts, senses and actions of the characters. Who thought it? A perspective is given and students choose and state who would have thought it. Two perspectives about same character. Students state or type what two characters felt and thought about another character. Lessons learned: open-ended. Students type what lessons characters learned in the story. Last slide: drag and drop-students drag favorite character to heart and tell/type why they liked them. The activities become increasingly difficult as the deck progresses. This allows all of your students to experience success. If you use it with a group, have your struggling students perform the earlier activities and your other students perform the later ones.
