Students are provided with objects in the following categories: - Food - Drinks - Clothing - Furniture - Utensils - Appliances - Animals - School Supplies - Toys - Body Parts - Letters - Numbers The following IEP goals can be targeted during this activity: - Categories - Describing (e.g. color, object function, attributes, parts, category, etc.) - WH questions (e.g. can ask "What is clothing?" or "What is an animal?) - Expanding Utterances and Increasing MLU (e.g. provide students with a visual sentence starter such as "the dog is a ____").
