Description: This deck contains a series of action cards including a combination of drawings and photos for generalization purposes. It is an expressive activity, so adults select the correct response and should select whether the learner is correct or incorrect. Actions include: walking, running, driving, kicking, hugging, sleeping, throwing, catching, writing, reading, swimming, playing, dancing, brushing hair, brushing teeth, eating, drinking, jumping, cleaning, and crying. This activity is an expressive goal, which can be worked on in 1:1 or group settings, such as for choral responding. It corresponds directly with Lisneyland's Actions Deck 4: First 20 Receptive Actions. This expressive deck allows flexibility in the expected response, which can range include "Drive," "Driving," "Boy is driving," or even, "The boy is driving a car." Take every opportunity while working on this together to practice and/or pretend to do the actions and expose your learner to language! Have your learner echo your word or phrase, or simply expand on what you see in the photo. Have fun! -Liz
