Description
This multipurpose deck provides Bubbles of Fun while targeting Backing with Minimal pairs “T/K” in the initial position of words. Cards are provided for T and K in isolation for warm up. Twenty word pairs follow. Instruct the student to say both words on the card. Next, instruct the student to say the word with the /t/ sound and drag the bubble to the Narwhal’s horn to Pop it. Variations of use include: AUDITORY DISCRIMINATION: “Point to the one I say”. WORD TASKS: ask the child to say only the word with the initial /t/. sound. If they say the word correctly, the child can pop the bubble. If the word is said incorrectly, prompt by modeling “Do you mean A or B?” While the deck can be used by the child independently, having an SLP or Caregiver present to provide feedback is optimal.
