Description: This activity is designed to teach students about comparatives (-er) and superlatives (-est). Comparatives and superlatives are used to compare people, places, and things. A comparative compares two different things. A superlative compares one thing to all of the others things in the same group. This Boom Card deck has 3 different activities: 1. Comparatives: Students will practice answering questions like, "Which one is smaller?" or "Which car is faster?" 2. Superlatives: Students will practice answering questions like, "Who has the longest hair?" or "Which fish is the biggest?" 3. Putting items in order: Students will practice comparatives and superlatives as they put items in order (big-bigger-biggest, tall-taller-tallest, etc).
