This digital game is an ideal speech and language companion for the popular Pop the Pirate toy. I am not associated with TOMY the owners of the Pop the Pirate trademark. There are three categories to choose from: Identifying and Labeling common verbs Using verb tenses to describe pictures Identifying and Labeling phrasal verbs Each slide has three opportunities to put a sword in the barrel. Under each sword is a clear and colorful picture portraying a verb. The verbs are discreetly labeled in the bottom corner of the page. Click on each picture to HEAR a short sentence about that picture. Use this resource to: identify verbs from a field of 3 label verbs conjugate verbs use verbs to describe, compare and contrast scenes practice using pronouns to describe pictures retelling three events using: first, next, last To use with the toy: have your student complete one page then roll the die to see how many swords to put in the toy barrel. After the child's turn, direct them to complete another turn on the boom cards or pass the boom cards to the next child in the group.
