Description: This deck of the basic number property of addition-- (Commutative Property) is created with students with Autism in mind. This deck has 24 task cards thus far, designed to provide students practice with identifying adding numbers in any order by turning around the numbers, and thereby arriving at the same sum. One set of cards in the deck asks students to label groups of manipulative and find the sum. Another set in the deck asks students to turn around numbers, use the number line to count on and find the sum; still another set in the deck asks students to match equations with two or three numbers that give the same sum. This deck of cards also provide audio instruction(s) which lend(s) support to the student.
