Description: Find all the superheroes in this Boom Cards™ game while answering WHERE questions using prepositions – in, on, under, in front of, behind, next to, and between. Target descriptive language by describing the superheroes before looking for them. This game is suitable for online speech therapy and distance learning. Suggested answers are on the last 4 pages.
How you can use this game: 1. Use this game to teach prepositions. Follow the question prompts and have your student find the superhero. Repeat and emphasize the preposition (ie. “Ironman is behind the tree.") Then, click on the superhero. 2. Practice using prepositions in expressive language. Have your student tell you where the superhero is in a prepositional phrase (ie. "in the sand pit") or in a sentence (ie. "The Hulk is in the sand pit.") Then, click on the superhero. 3. Describe the superheroes before looking for them: - What colour(s) is their suit? - Are they wearing a cape - what colour is it? - Are they wearing a mask - what does it look like? - What are they holding; what does it look like? - What colour is their skin?
