Teaching cooperation & teamwork to middle high school students. Provides a conflict on the job situation & 2 outcomes based on the actions and reactions of the main character. Covers: making a mistake at work, being unable to regulate emotions & how cooperation plays a part in being successful at work. Students can choose a "good" and "bad" outcome and see how each plays out. Then, they build their own outcome & explore the components of the story related to cooperation and teamwork. Includes: Student self-rating, Knowledge check, Social narrative: we make choices about acting and reacting to situations, Introduction and conflict: not cooperating with a co-worker, failing to regulate emotions with a supervisor, and not admitting to a mistake. Students choose to explore outcome 1 or outcome 2 (or both), Students answer questions to analyze each outcome, Explore cooperation, vocabulary, what it is, how it looks, Build your own outcome to the same scenario, End of lesson review, How was your effort? Learning Supports include: audio directions, home page, back & forth arrows, scaffolded learning, photographs & graphics pertinent to content, screen-reader accessible. Photographs featured are of older students with diverse skin colors. Students respond by checking/circling T/F, yes/no, multiple choice, and typed responses, giving students of all abilities a chance to be successful!
