Description
This interactive no-prep activity is an engaging way to help your students build a variety of receptive and expressive language skills. Students are able to answer "who" and "where" questions, identifying pronouns (he vs. she), build vocabulary (e.g. community buildings), and increase MLU with the core word WANT! This interactive activity is extremely motivating and engaging as it contains animated superhero's (GIFS)! This activity contains the following: - Visual sentence strips to help students increase MLU - 22 different community building (e.g. school, library, grocery store, post office, hospital, diner, barber shop, hair salon, restaurant, candy store, ice cream shop, pharmacy, donut shop, pet shop, coffee shop, bank, movie theatre, gas station, airport, hotel, church, police station, school, garage, fire station) - 7 different girl superhero's - 7 different boy superhero's -Multiple opportunities to practice the core word WANT Some IEP goals that can be targeted during this activity: - Expanding Utterances and Increasing MLU - Where Questions - Identifying Pronouns - Vocabulary (community buildings) - Core Word WANT - Other WH Question ideas (e.g. why do you go to the hospital, what do you buy at the grocery store, what do you fly in at the airport, where do you go send a letter, etc.)
