Back To School HOT SEAT Game Places in A Town

Description
This is a great activity to motivate your students in the morning or wrap up a class in a fun way, revising some vocabulary and perfecting their descriptive language skills along the way. Split the class into 2 teams, and one volunteer from each team sits with their back toward the board. Display the first place in the town on the board. Each team desbribes what they see/ what you can do there/why you visit that particular place to help their team mate guess what is behind them. When the student with their back to the board shouts out the correct answer, that team gets a point and you move onto the next image. I change over the "guessers" between each picture, but you can leave the same 2 students for the entire game if you prefer. This activity is especially useful for ESL learners. Have fun!
