This is an adapted version of the popular Hungry Caterpillar story. This version puts all the verbs into the present tense and simplifies some noun phrases. There is a different card for every food and audio for each slide. The audio is recorded in Scottish Standard English. This deck will be particularly useful for independent learning and learners learning to match words to sounds. The child can listen to the audio as many times as they like and can easily switch backwards and forwards between cards. In online classes and therapy sessions, the clear and simple images can be used to talk about colours, objects and events. The cards can be used to work on predicting and sequencing skills too.
