Description
This is a 31-card Valentine's Day Scavenger Hunt that will teach students about Valentine's Day and the traditions and activities associated with it. While completing this hunt, student will learn why red hearts are associated with Valentine's Day, who created candy conversation hearts, who made the first Valentine's Day card, and more. To complete the hunt, students are presented with a question with some possible answers. Then they read a passage where the information can be found. They receive instant feedback on whether or not they chose the correct answer. The final card in the deck challenges students to write 3 interesting things they learned from the hunt. It is a good activity for a reading center or Valentine's Day and can also be used as an easy lesson for a sub.
