Students will see an improper fraction written in traditional fraction notation (6/4). -First, students will convert the fraction to a division sentence (in bracket form) -Next, they will solve, showing all of their work directly on the card -Finally, they will type the answer as a mixed number. An example card is included. Four cards provide students with the division sentence (they will just need to solve). All other cards require the student to rewrite the fraction as division first.
