Description
This Valentine's Day themed social language is designed for upper elementary and middle school students. 4 different social pragmatic language sections are included: Conversation Starters Problem Solving Social Inferences with real pictures Emotions with real pictures Conversation Starters: This section consists of 15 cards with 15 unique, Valentine's Day themed conversation starters. These can be used to target turn taking, appropriate reciprocal remarks, and other conversational language concepts. Problem Solving: This section consists on 15 unique, Valentine's Day themed problems. The student will be asked various questions such as what the problem is and how to solve the problem, etc. SLP can also add other questions to expand these problem solving scenarios. Social Inferences This section consists of 15 unique, real life photos with questions to have the student infer what is happening, how the person is feeling, what could happen next, etc. Emotions This section consists of 15 unique real life photos and asks what emotion the person in the photo is experiencing. Extension questions like why is this person feeling this way or how do you know this person is feeling this way can easily be used in this section.
