Description

Semantic Associations: Obj+Place, Obj+Function, Obj+Obj This deck has 25 everyday objects. Each card uses three color-coded sentence frames that build vocabulary, expressive language, and inner language. For every object, your student practices three associations: - Blue: I see this at the ___ (object + place) -Yellow: I use it to ___ (object + function) - Green: It goes together with ___ (object + related object) The color setup is inspired by the Colorful Semantics approach. It keeps the layout predictable so kids know what to expect on every card. How this helps: - Executive functioning. Kids build inner self-talk when noticing and describing an object, which supports organized thinking and attention to the world around them. - Expressive language. Three sentence frames per object gives 75 sentence-building chances across the deck. - GLP-friendly. All the prompts are statements, never questions. Kids fill in the blank instead of being quizzed. - Vocabulary depth. Each object is thought about in three categories at once, not just labeled. Perfect for -Speech-language therapy (vocabulary, semantic networks, expressive language) -AAC pre-teaching and core-word work - Autism support and neuro-affirming sessions - Executive functioning practice Created by a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (formerly an SLP), supervised by licensed SLPs in Ontario.
