This 20 question card boom deck is perfect for practicing subtraction with regrouping. Problems range from 3 digit minus 3 digits up to 5 digits minus 5 digits. The last 4 problems of the deck are meant to challenge and extend. They are missing digit/tile questions where students will need to reason out the correct missing digits. There are helper slides for differentiation on reasoning through those questions. There is another version of this product which includes a printable work page that correlates with the questions in this deck. The standard: 3.NBT.A.2 Fluently add and subtract within 1000 using strategies and algorithms based on place value, properties of operations, and/or the relationship between addition and subtraction. 4.NBT.B.4 Fluently add and subtract multi-digit whole numbers using the standard algorithm.
