In this deck, students will learn about, and practice identifying, the best written conclusion sentence for a given introduction. Mini-lesson (with AUDIO): 1. Definition of a Conclusion 2. Writing a question as a conclusion 3. Writing an exclamatory sentence as a conclusion 4. Restating the Main Idea as a conclusion Activity (with AUDIO) 1. Students will see an introduction sentence and three possible conclusion sentences 2. They will then click the BEST conclusion sentence. Directions (with AUDIO) included on each card. 20 Total cards: 1 Directions card 4 Mini-lesson cards 15 Activity cards W.3.1 Write opinion pieces on topics or texts, supporting a point of view with reasons. d.
