Description: This boom deck works on the skill of sequencing and retelling stories. Students will be able to listen to the story as it includes SOUND or they can read the short stories. Students can then practice retelling the story and summarizing the events with the picture sequence to aid their retelling. Both listening and reading comprehension can be targeted since the audio is included and is set to play only with a click (not automatically). Students must listen to the story to get the exact sequence correct and not rely solely on the picture sequence. This comprehension set is great for speech therapy, English language learners, small group reading instruction, special education groups.
