Description
When you have true beginners in your adult ESL class, and they need to work on the alphabet, finding something that is level AND age-appropriate can just about take forever plus your whole weekend, right? That's where this deck comes in. Each card has the entire alphabet, in alphabetical order. Students will hear a letter. They must locate the letter and click on it. They may click on the audio icon to listen to the letter again and again if they want. NOTHING is cutesy! I created this for adult learners (this is also appropriate for secondary aged students). This will NOT appeal to young learners. The consonants have a blue background. The vowels have a purple background. The letter "y" has a blue background, but the letter itself is the same color as the vowels. Please be sure to examine the font in the playable preview. I used "Levenium," which is almost identical to Century Gothic. I like this font because it resembles the font you see on most keyboards. Also, take note that I am American. I pronounce the last letter of the alphabet "zee," not "zed". Contact me if you need "zed." I also have a deck with just the uppercase letters and a combo deck with both upper and lowercase letters.
