Description: This deck is intended to help scaffold students to be able to independently answer multi-step word problems. It breaks down each step to solve the problem and is ONLY asking for identifying the operation. Key words are also highlighted to help support the student. Addition and Subtraction are the only operations in this set. It is the goal that as students master addition and subtraction, they can move on to complete the multiplication and division deck and the mixed operations deck before they move onto the other scaffolded sets in the store. This deck also focuses on reading the problems and directions carefully to see what is being asked. This deck can also be used for data collecting on their IEP goal.
