Description

STEP 1 of Ear Training Step by Step. Also in 2 bundles. A self-checking ear training game for Grades 2-4. Learners hear two notes and decide: is note 2 higher or lower than note 1? A friendly frog hops up for higher and down for lower. 29 cards, 20 scored. HOW IT WORKS - 3 learn cards: high and low notes, higher notes on the staff, the same note. - Round 1: big jumps. Round 2: smaller jumps. Round 3: tiny whole steps. - Round 4 adds "Same", mixed with half steps: the hardest round. - After each round, a reveal card shows the pairs on the treble staff. - Every question: play both notes, or note 1 and note 2 one at a time. SELF-CHECKING, WITH HELP WHEN STUCK - Boom scores every question; wrong answers show at once for a retry. - Two tap-to-show hints per question: a nudge, then the method. - Both notes are always equally loud and equally long, so learners judge pitch, not volume. ACCURACY Every answer in this resource is checked by our own verification software and by AI test solves: separate AI sessions solve it from the cards and sounds alone, without the answer key. It has not been tested with a class. We work hard to be accurate, but no process is perfect. If you spot an error, please tell us through the store's feedback. HOW IT WAS MADE Text written with AI assistance and fact-checked. All images and music notation are drawn in code; no AI image generators were used. All sounds are made in code. No AI voice. Needs sound. Plays in a browser; needs internet.
