Description: Help AAC users and verbal communicators drill the core vocabulary words “over” and “under” with this deck featuring 46 slides. Each slide shows a park bench or table with a bird either flying over or standing under. Students build an understanding of spatial relationships while also familiarizing themselves with the locations of “over” and “under” on their AAC devices. This resource includes two levels of practice: Level 1: Alike images are paired together, so one is guaranteed to be over and the other under. Level 2: All images are mixed up for a more challenging activity. Students can respond with single words (“Over.” “Under.”), build 2- & 3-word utterances (“Bird over.” “Bird under.”), or add description work for more advanced users (“Bird is under the table.” “Bird flies over the bench.”). No clickable answers—students respond using their AAC devices and/or verbally.
