This fun and scaffolded deck uses T-shirts to improve inferencing skills and the ability to interpret sarcasm! It includes a home page, arrows for navigation and narration. This scaffolded learning deck includes a student self rating and knowledge check. It starts out with T-shirts with images and then words and multiple choice questions about what inferences can be made from the t-shirts. Then, after a 2 slide explanation of sarcasm, students make inferences and interpret sarcasm from images and statements on t-shirts, first with multiple choice questions, followed by open-ended (type the answer) questions about the t-shirts. In the last four slides, students can type and drag/drop icons to design their own sincere and sarcastic t-shrts. At the end, there is a review. This deck is included in the money-saving sarcasm bundle in my BOOM store. Students have the option to hear audio directions.
