Provided in this print and go resource are 40 “WHAT IS SANTA DOING” questions, with visual supports and a field of 3 pictures to choose from, which is an ideal way to build receptive language / comprehension and expressive language skills with young children who are developing early language, children who may have a language delay, those who are learning English as a Second Language, and/or those who heavily rely on visual cues and visual supports. In order to increase comprehension, the question itself is asked using picture icons, sign language, along with the printed words. And, a cloze sentence format and visual cues are provided in the answer / response in order to increase your student's expressive language by answering a question using multimodal modes of communication if needed.
