This resource is designed to support students in developing expressive language and early sentence formulation through structured sentence starters. It includes: ⭐ 15 x “I see a…” sentence starter task cards, with a visual prompt and 2 options on each card to support students in completing the sentence. ⭐ Nature-themed to engage students while developing vocabulary and sentence structure. ⭐ Voice recordings are included to provide an auditory model of the target sentence. ⭐ Supports students to move from single-word responses to simple sentences (e.g., “I see a rainbow”). ⭐ Can be used to encourage verbal sentence production or sentence generation using an AAC device. Students can use their communication device to form the target sentence, while also supporting navigation and familiarity with their device. ⭐ Suitable for use in speech therapy sessions, AAC intervention, small group intervention, and individual learning activities.
