Description: These Boom Cards™ (audio included) will give your students practice with beginning sounds in this 35 card deck. Students click on the speaker icon to have the directions read to them, "Find the beginning sound for the animal." Students also click on the second speaker icon on each card to hear the name of each animal. The animals included are farm (12 animals), ocean (8 animals), and zoo (15 animals) animals with a matching background for the farm, ocean, and zoo. The directions are the same for all 35 cards, but with a different second audio to name the picture of the animal on each card. Students will look at the animal picture in the center of each card, listen to the audio to hear the name of the animal, and then choose the correct letter for the beginning sound from the three letter tile choices on each card. Two answer choices are wrong and one is correct. **Every letter in the alphabet is NOT included, and some letters are used multiple times to match the animals in the included settings. The cards in this deck are randomized so that the cards are in a different order each time the deck is played. Correct answers are rewarded with a bell sound which automatically advances students to the next card. Incorrect answers hear “whoops” and students must keep trying until the correct answer is chosen. There are 35 cards in this deck of self-checking cards.
