Description: If you need Basic Social Skills activities for teaching Assertive communication and the balance between being confident without being rude or overly passive, this resource is a must-have. It helps students distinguish between assertive, passive, and aggressive comments—an essential part of any Social Skills Curriculum. Ideal for students with special needs, those struggling with a speech filter, or as part of life skills and Vocational activities training. Your students will receive a 33 card deck (26 scenarios!) with 54 Drag and drop prompts, 10 multiple choice prompts, 10 open-ended prompts, 5 instructional cards, and 3 fill-in-the-blank prompts. An independent lesson will take about 30 minutes. however, if you are using it as a teaching tool during instruction, the lesson can easily fill 60 minutes with breaks in between for group discussion. The open-ended cards at the end can be used as assessment cards to let you gauge the quality of a self-generated comment.
