Halloween Prefix Sorting Activity for Grades 3, 4, and 5. These are 8 self-grading Boom Cardsâ„¢ for students to match up different prefixes to root words. Each card has 10 root words that students are to sort. Students can drag the correct image and word combo picture to the prefix that matches them. If a wrong answer is performed, students will be instantly cued and able to repeat it until the correct option is chosen. All of the images are of Halloween themed root words. The eight prefixes in this deck are the prefix dis, prefix im, prefix in, prefix ir, prefix mis, prefix pre, prefix re, and the prefix un.
