Description
Increase carryover of correct sound production into conversation by targeting the most frequently occurring words in the English language. In this case, Find Wally, Oliver, and Megatron! targets the most commonly occurring /r/ blends in the English language. The rules are that each player will choose a word and if they find one pet, they get a point, two pets, they get two points, and three pets, three points. If there is no pet found, the player has to say the word three times. This game can be played practicing their sounds in single words and/or in sentences. Students also have the opportunity to increase self-awareness and self-monitoring by indicating if a word that was said should go in the "correct" or "incorrect" bin. Find Wally, Oliver, and Megatron! keeps students focused and motivated. It is a fun way to target sounds and allows for a lot of practice! The images are randomized so it is a new game each time you play!
