Description: Find all the animals in this Boom Cards™ game while answering WHERE questions using prepositions – in, on, under, behind, next to, and between. Target descriptive language by describing the animals before looking for them. This game is suitable for online speech therapy and distance learning. Suggested answers are on the last page. This is the second edition of the game, and the animals disappear after they are found. This means that searching for the animals gets easier because there are fewer options as the game progresses.
How you can use this game: 1. Use this game to teach prepositions. Follow the question prompts and have your student find the animal. Repeat and emphasize the preposition (ie. “The cat (Karen Cat) is on the tree.") Then, click on the animal. 2. Practice using prepositions in expressive language. Have your student tell you where the animal is in a prepositional phrase (ie. "behind the the swing") or in a sentence (ie. "The pig (Pammy Pig) is behind the swing.") Then, click on the animal. 3. Describe the animals first before looking for them. - What colour(s) they are? - What shape are their ears? - Do they have a tail?
