Description: I regularly use real-life puppets in my classroom to deliver social-emotional lessons for my students but because of Covid I started videotaping them. In this video lesson, Tommy is playing tag with his brother in the house. They get too wild and need to calm down. Tommy shows you what he puts in his calm down box and how he uses it. Following the video, children will play a game sorting items you would put in your calm down box from items that you wouldn't. My students LOVE watching these puppet videos as do my kids at home! I use these to assess how my students are doing in the social- emotional area (do they understand rules, do they understand consequences, do they understand emotions, do they understand solving-problems, do the understand calming down, empathy ect.) Includes: -14 slides -First slide is directions -Second slide is the video (approximately 7 minutes long) - Slides 3-14 are a game where students sort items you would use to calm down from items you wouldn't -2 choices of answers/card -Voice prompt on each page in case child forgets directions Make sure to check all of my other puppet videos in my store! More puppet videos to come with other puppets! Follow me so you don't miss out!
