Description
This interactive no-prep activity is an engaging way to help your students build a variety of receptive and expressive language skills with thanksgiving food and animated ACTION VERBS (GIFS). Students are able to set the table for the thanksgiving dinner feast by following 3-step directions with the core word ON to put specific food items on the thanksgiving table. After, there will be an action verb behind each item. This activity includes: - A variety of thanksgiving food items (e.g. pie, bread, turkey, cornucopia, apple, jam, corn, yam, vegetables, pumpkin, mashed potatoes, carrots, sweet potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberries, green beans, pumpkin pie, juice, cookie) - A variety of action verbs (e.g. singing, cooking, sleeping, kicking, swinging, eating, swimming, painting, hiding, bouncing, standing up, throwing, playing, coloring, climbing stairs, climbing ladder, drinking, running, jumping rope, dancing, jumping & walking The following IEP goals can be targeted during the activity: - Following 3-step directions - Answering WH questions (e.g. ask students "what do you see" or "what is on the table") - Labeling Verbs - Identifying common nouns
