Description: This interactive no-prep activity is an engaging way to help your students build a variety of receptive and expressive language skills while reading the book The Little Blue Truck. This activity contains animals and vehicles from the story "Little Blue Truck. This interactive activity is extremely motivating and help your students stay engaged! This is great for speech therapy, tele-therapy, or even in person therapy! This activity includes: - A variety of activities to target labeling common objects, following directions, expanding utterances, & commenting! - Visual Sentence Strips to help students expand MLU - Activities that promote multiple repetitions of the core word OPEN and LIKE First, students are provided with a visual that says "open" and a barn. Students are asked to open the barn to see what is behind it. On the next slide, students are presented with the animal or vehicle that was in the barn and asked the WH question "what do you like?" Students are provided with a visual sentence starter "I like (noun)" to help formulate a full sentence.
