These 36 task cards have a Halloween theme and cover 2 digit multiplication. These cards are differentiated. Cards 1-12 have a purple background and are the easiest. These are 2 digit by 1 digit multiplication. Cards 13-24 have an orange background and are a little more difficult. These are 2 digit by 1 digit and 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication. Cards 25-36 have a black background and are the most challenging. These are 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication. Answers are fill in the blank and students are asked to type the correct answer. I suggest having students work out the problems on a separate sheet. These cards are aligned to the common core 3.NBT.A3, 4.NBT.B5, and 5.NBT.B5.
