Description: This is a fun segmenting game to help practice spelling cvc words. Students segment the picture in the square that the baby reindeer sees. Then they need to drag a letter to each sound box to spell the word. This activity develops phonemic awareness and phonics combined. All 5 short vowel sounds are included and the 75 cards are randomized so it's a new game each time the students play. There are 20 cards played at a time. There is a speaker icon to have the word and sentence for students that need language help or are confused by a word. They just have to click on the speaker. The picture helps students that have difficulty remembering the word as they segment or with memory issues. The entire alphabet is included on each card to help students that don't know all the letters. They can say the abc's to find the correct letter.
