Description
This is a high-interest 33-card scavenger hunt about school that can be used to use at back-to-school time to get students into the swing of learning (or to teach them how to use BOOM cards) or at the end of the year when you need to keep them engaged and learning. While completing the hunt, students will learn interesting facts about the schools they attend every day as well as interesting facts about the supplies they use, and a few facts about schools in other countries. To complete the hunt, students answer 15 multiple-choice questions. First, they read a question and its possible answer choices. Then they read a short passage to find the answer. In addition to being a great beginning of the year or end of year activity, it can also be used as an easy activity for a sub, or a reading center.
