This is a freebie sample! The full activity is in my boom store. This interactive no-prep activity contains a variety of winter clothing items to help students build a variety of expressive and receptive language skills in an engaging way! Students are able to answer WH questions, label clothing items, and increase MLU with visual sentence strips (e.g. I wear a ___ in the winter)! The activity contains the following: - Visual sentence strips to help students increase MLU - A variety of winter clothing items (e.g. sweater, jacket, hat, scarf, gloves, ear muffs, mittens, snow pants, socks & ice skates) Some of the following IEP goals can be targeted during this activity: - Expanding Utterances and Increasing MLU - WH Questions (e.g. other WH questions- what do you wear on your hands to keep them warm, where do you wear a hat, etc.) - Identifying and Labeling Clothing Items - Body parts (e.g. can ask students to identify body parts on themselves)
