Our Literacy Bags are going digital! Here's a new way to engage students while learning and practicing literacy skills! In the classroom, we often use our Literacy Bags in partner pairs. Here are 2 ways this digital set helps us: - Accountability: kiddos can review their work with the paper Literacy Bags and we get the results - Assessment: use this card deck as an assessment tool after kiddos practice with Literacy Bags This is Words Around Us from our 1st Grade Literacy Bag set. Students look at a photograph and read a short sentence with a bold word. Then, students will identify the meaning of the bold word using the picture and context clues from other words in the sentence and meaning of the sentence.
