Description: The best measurement deck for your students! I am very proud of this deck, it has many different ways to measure with a ruler... I poured my heart and many hours making it. MEASUREMENT SKILLS -Drag the ruler to measure (the original!) -Vertical -Horizontal -Diagonal -Broken rules (a rule that DOES NOT start on zero) -What is the difference? -What is the total length? -Choose the appropriate ruler (inches or centimeters) 11 cards - 1 with video lessons and 10 questions. Recommended use: Set 1 - Unlimited practice, guided lesson (I deselect the randomized option). I guide the lesson using the cards, then students re-do the deck in small groups/pairs and I monitor for questions and misconceptions. Students have a specific amount of time to practice set 1 as much as possible. Set 2- I limit it to be played only once, and use it as a grade. The reason for that is, that I have seen kids just clicking on all the options on decks and memorizing/writing down the answers, then re-playing the deck and get high accuracy without internalizing (learning) the concept. To avoid that, I limit SET 2 to be played ONCE. The questions are very similar to set 1, so after a guided lesson and practice, they will be able to answer set 2 without a problem, and get a real grade and idea of you as a teacher of what they need to reinforce.
