Description: This deck of 30 cards is perfect for teaching students how to use transition words or linking words and phrases in narrative, opinion, or informational writing. There are 3 sets of 10 cards. Each set progressively becomes more of a challenge. Set #1- asks students to drag and drop a transition word into the place that shows sequence and order to the steps. Set #2- asks students to drag and drop sentences into the correct position for the storyline. Set #3 - using multiple choice, students will choose the transition word or phrase that best fits the situation.
